Homemade cleaning

Decided to put my thoughts into action.  Making our own cleaning supplies now.

All Purpose Cleaner

1 gal water
1 cup ammonia
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup baking soda

Combine all ingredients.  Put in a spray bottle to clean showers, floors, toilets, sinks and counters.  Great for most cleaning needs.

Window Cleaner

1/2 cup ammonia
2 cups rubbing alcohol
water
1 tsp dish washing liquid

In one-gallon container, mix ammonia and rubbing alcohol.  Fill almost to the top with water.  Add dish washing liquid and mix.  Top off with water.  Rater by Consumer Reports to work much better and cheaper than most commercial products.

Cleaning Wipes

1/4 cup rubbing alcohol
2 tbsp Dawn

Place rags in water tight container. Mix ingredients and pour over rags. Use as you would the disposable cleaning wipes. Wash and replace as used.

Homemade Oven Cleaner

opt 1:
2 cups baking soda
1 cup distilled vinegar
½ cup dawn dish soap

opt 2:
Do you spend hours upon hours scrubbing your oven clean? Stop it! Instead, make a paste using water and baking soda and spread it all around the inside of your oven. Let it sit overnight, then take a wet rag to wipe out as much of the baking soda mixture as possible. Next, spray some vinegar on the inside of your oven and wipe down with a wet rag. Then turn your oven on low for about 20 minutes to let it dry.
