natural remedies for most insect problems

Here are some natural remedies for most insect problems.
I was asked for my multiuse insect repellent spray, here is my recipe.
Insect repellent spray multi use (mosquitoes, ticks, gnats, midges, fleas, flies and noseeums)
2 TBSP LEMON GRASS OIL
5 TBSP CITRONELLA OIL
2 TBSP PALMROSA OIL
FILL 8 OZ SPRAY BOTTLE WITH REMAINING OLIVE OIL, SHAKE WELL. Will keep fresh for up to 1 year.
Use daily. This can be used safely on humans, pets and children. Spray skin directly, or can be put in squirt bottle for the same think, squirt in hand, rub on skin.
For fleas in carpet or furniture: sprinkle household iodized salt over the infected area, let sit a minimum of 24 hours, fleas and bed bugs are attracted to it, and it dehydrates and kills them. Vacuum thoroughly the carpets or furniture afterwards.
For fleas in the grass or in the yard, put kosher salt crystals in a spreader and walk the yard, it does not kill the grass, simply the bugs that are drawn to it and eat it. This will not harm your pets, treat monthly during wet months.
For fleas infestation on Dogs, cats, rabbits.
I use 1 part Dawn for sensitive skin with Olay. I bathe them in it, letting the soap stay on the skin at least five minutes. It smothers the fleas and larvae, rinse well. Spray with apple cider vinegar and let dry.
Treat once a week in wet months. I have a spray bottle with 1 cup dawn, 3 cups water. Spray animal until wet to the touch, massage into skin, and rub excess water off in towels. Let animal air dry.

Homemade weed killer
1 gallon vinegar
1 ounce liquid dish soap
Spray bottle
Spray directly on weed.

Homemade Mosquito Repellent
15 drops of lavender oil
3-4 Tbsp of vanilla extract
1/4 cup lemon juice.
Put in a 16 oz bottle fill bottle with water; shake to combine ingredients and spray skin.
If you are allergic to any ingredients, do not use them. Common sense can help prevent a lot of problems.
